Teaching The Teacher: Insights from a quest to master a language

Language teachers have the seemingly impossible task of making a complex language simple and fun to learn. This is made harder still when we fail to appreciate how frustrating and slow the experience can be for students. This talk will demonstrate how an experiential understanding of how we learn languages can transform the way we teach them.
Ryan has been working as a curriculum developer at Chatterbug for almost 3 years. Not only did he develop Chatterbug's English curriculum from start to finish, but he is also involved with tutor training, events, and numerous other projects at Chatterbug. Prior to Chatterbug he taught English in China, Myanmar and South Korea.
